How to scan many QR codes and barcodes and export to CSV
Need to scan a whole box of items, a list of tickets, or a table of codes? Batch mode reads codes one after another into a list that you can share or export to a spreadsheet.
Steps
- Open the app on the Scan tab.
- Tap the Batch scan button.
- Point the camera at each code. Every code you read is added to the list.
- When you are done, tap Export CSV. You can also share the list as plain text.
- Open the file in any spreadsheet app, such as Excel or Google Sheets.
About CSV export
CSV export is part of Pro. If you are not a Pro user, you can watch one short ad to export once.
Cells that begin with =, +, - or @ get a leading apostrophe, so a spreadsheet never runs scanned text as a formula.
Tips
- Hold the phone steady and give each code a moment, especially in dim light. Use the flashlight if needed.
- Everything is saved in your History too, where you can search it and star favorites.
- Scanning happens on your phone, and you don't need an account.
